Dry fuels and low relative humidity will create fire danger concerns across most of north and central Georgia today, including Gainesville and surrounding areas.
The weather service has issued a Red Flag Warning for portions of south-central Georgia where winds will be stronger. For the rest of us, a Fire Danger Statement has been posted. Wind expectations range from 8-25 mph depending on which area you are in.
