*Hall County is planning a two-pronged celebration later this month to honor the 250th anniversary of founding of our country and one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, Lyman Hall, the county’s namesake. It’s to take place at the government center April 17, 2:00-4:00. For more information about these events and other County initiatives, please visit hallcounty.org. *Cumming’s new police and municipal court building is almost ready for occupancy. Located at Cumming City Center, the two-story facility provides almost 16,300 square feet of space for the departments. It will replace the current facility on Veterans Memorial Boulevard, which is more than 50 years old.
