The suspect in a Tuesday night murder in Dawson County remained at large early Wednesday evening. The sheriff’s office says it happened “in the area of” Georgia 136 just east of Keith Evans Road.
DAWSON CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE:
“As a result of the incident, the victim has succumbed to their injuries. The victim’s name will be released at a later time. The victim and suspect were known to each other, and at this time, we do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community.
The suspect, Roy “JoJo” Holloway, fled the scene and is considered armed and dangerous. His current location is unknown. While our intelligence indicates he may have left the area, we still encourage the public to remain vigilant.

The sheriff’s office says Holloway may be in the company of Ariel Decarli, 37, who is wanted for questioning in the case.
