Seven Hall Co. students named for GHP

Seven Hall County students have been named finalists for the Georgia Governor’s Honors Program (GHP) this summer.

It is a residential program for gifted and talented high school juniors and seniors. Administered by the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement (GOSA), this year it will take place at Georgia Southern University.

The program offers instruction that is “significantly” different from the typical high school classroom and provides students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment “to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders.”
