S. Hall man charged with threatening hospital

Hall County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a Flowery Branch man for threats he allegedly made during a phone call to the hospital in Braselton Monday afternoon.

HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NARRATIVE:

“At approximately 4:20…deputies responded to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton, where an employee received the call and notified law enforcement.

According to initial details, the suspect called the hospital on behalf of a family member who had recently been discharged from the hospital. Saleh Aldwaikat, 53, yelled at the call taker about where the family member’s prescription had been sent. Aldwaikat called back and threatened to “blow up the place and kill everyone.”

Deputies responded to Aldwaikat’s home and spoke with him. Following the initial investigation, they placed him under arrest and charged him with terroristic threats and acts (felony).  Deputies transported Aldwaikat to the Hall County Jail, where he remains held without bond.”
