A fire early Sunday at the Gold Creek poultry processing plant on Memorial Park Drive resulted in little damage but an evacuation of the building.
It happened shortly after midnight Saturday, according to Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) and was under some machinery on the exterior of the building. Employees were evacuated while the fire was being extinguished.
Once that was done, they were allowed back inside. There were no injuries.
