HCSO NARRATIVE:
“On Nov. 9, 2025, Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a dispute at 1815 Atlanta Highway (One Dollar Coin Laundry). An employee of the business and a woman were arguing over the employee’s refusal to cash a check for her. The woman previously cashed a check at the location, which was returned to the business as fraudulent. Deputies collected information from both parties, and the case was assigned to an investigator, who began work on it.
On Nov. 25, investigators obtained a warrant for the arrest of the woman, identified as Maria Danielle Register, 33, of Hahira. She is charged with one count of deposit account fraud (felony) for passing the initial fraudulent check at the business for an amount of approximately $2,600.
Deputies took custody of Register from Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office deputies early Saturday morning…
Register was booked into the Hall County Jail. She posted $5,700 bond and was released from jail on Saturday afternoon.”
