Six nonprofit organizations serving Hall County will share in $47,985 of the $96,944 recently approved by the Jackson EMC (JEMC) Foundation Board of Directors.
They are Hope Clinic, Inc.; Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, Inc.; ALS United of Georgia; Bridging Hope, Gainesville; Project Adam Community Assistance Center, Winder; and Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities, Inc.
In addition, an individual grant of $5,000 was approved for home modifications for a Hall County widow.
