*Several people have been arrested in separate cases in Hall County on drug trafficking/distribution charges since Friday. Most of the charges involved meth and/or marijuana.
*Meanwhile, a four-old overdosed on cocaine recently and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reports two people have been charged in connection with the incident. Sheena Dawn Shumake, 35, and Joshua Tyler Shumake, 33, are charged with cruelty to children in the first degree. Other details were not immediately released.
*And among other arrests and/or cases made in Hall County over the weekend: Maintaining a disorderly house; false imprisonment; theft by taking, greater than $1,500; residential burglary; and cruelty to children in the first degree.
Other details on these and other stories are not likely to be available until Monday when local law enforcement offices open following the weekend.
