Strong winds, gusting to 30 mph at times overnight in Hall County, are bringing with them an end to our springlike weather and a return to near normal for this time of the year. That has prompted the National Weather Service (NWS) to issue a Wind Advisory for most of the state.
With the strong expected to continue tonight and early tomorrow, wind chills are expected to drop into the teens and maybe single digits in some places Monday morning in our corner of the state.
NWS WIND ADVISORY:

■ Peak wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected today, with locally higher gusts on the mountain
