HCSO NEWS RELEASE:
Following an investigation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Internet Crimes Against
Children (ICAC) Unit, a 20-year-old Gainesville man has been charged with multiple felony
counts of child sexual exploitation.
Wilder Turcios was arrested on Thursday…and he remains in the Hall County Jail
with no bond.
ICAC investigators received multiple cybertips last month leading them to the suspect’s
residence on Box Elder Path. Investigators served a search warrant at the residence on Thursday
and seized multiple electronic devices. Turcios was arrested after he was questioned at HCSO
Headquarters in Gainesville.
To date, investigators have located (20) images of minors engaged in sexually explicit
conduct. Additional charges are possible pending the completed forensic analysis of all
electronic devices seized during the search.”
