Junior forward Caylie Long has joined the Brenau University basketball record books by eclipsing the 1,000-point mark for her college career. It happened Wednesday when the Golden Tigers defeated Columbia College in a 72-68 Appalachian Athletic Conference game.
Long and Kristina Peach each scored 18 points to lead Brenau to victory.
Long, a native of Powder Springs, and a nursing major, attended Hillgrove High School and Cedar Crest College before coming to Brenau.
She is the 11th Golden Tiger to join the 1,000-point club.
