A 28-year-old woman has been charged by Gainesville Police with 18 counts of theft by taking, accused of stealing from her employer. Delaina Storm Osborne was arrested Tuesday afternoon about 3:00.
“Subject is alleged to have made fraudulent returns to (Hibbett) Sports as an employee,” a spokesman for Gainesville Police wrote in an email. “She is alleged to have done this on multiple occasions.”
Each of the charges carries the notation “less than $1,500.”
