An employee of the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) was arrested Monday in connection with a domestic dispute.
Adrian Martinez, Jr., is charged with false imprisonment and simple battery. The nearly two-year employee of the sheriff’s office, who was assigned to the jail, was immediately fired, according to the sheriff’s office.
A news release says the alleged victim was Martinez’s “significant other.”
He is free on bond.
