*ICE rage Saturday in Savannah — an un-verified 400 people protesting ICE aggressive tactics in Minneapolis. The “Stand Against Fascism” rally marching from Madison Square to City Hall. Meanwhile, Republican Georgia Cong. Buddy Carter tells News-3 in Savannah if ICE wasn’t in Minneapolis there’d be more violence on the streets.
*Cyber criminals are busy stealing the identities of Georgia college students. State and local authorities investigating both identity theft and credit card fraud within the University System of Georgia.
*Former DeKalb County Schools superintendent, Dr. Devon Horton, spent over $120,000 on his district purchase card in just two years, with expenses including large sums at restaurants and stores. WSB-TV reports that an audit shows he spent $11,000 in one visit at Sam’s Club and $8,700at Jason’s Deli, among other purchases. Horton is currently under federal indictment for alleged theft from his previous school district in Illinois, prompting a forensic audit of his spending during his time as superintendent.
