*The Richmond Co. Sheriff’s Office is warning about a big increase in car break-ins in the Augusta area. Up 200% from last year. 119 so far this year. A spokesman says most are being committed by teenagers or organized groups from out of town. (Saturday, 97.5 Glory FM reported on an increase in such crimes in Oakwood. *As of Sunday morning, Georgia DOT crews had applied nearly seven million pounds of road treatment materials across the northern region of the state because of the ice storm. Traffic volumes were down as much as 80% Sunday on some interstates as of this morning. All express lanes will remain closed until further notice.
