Holly Springs Road was closed in both directions for several hours overnight after a vehicle struck a utility pole.
A Traffic Alert from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Saturday night noted that the road was closed in both directions between Three Bridges Road and Campbell Road. The accident happened at the Meadow Point Drive intersection, and the alert said the broken pole was “hanging over the roadway.”
The alert warned that the road would be closed “an extended period of time” as Jackson EMC crews worked to replace the pole. By 11:30 the sheriff’s office reported that one lane of Holly Springs had reopened.
No other information was available overnight or early Sunday.
