Hudson, the first baby born at NGMC (Northeast Georgia Medical Center) Gainesville this year (and the first in Hall County), arrived Thursday morning at 2:26.
He weighed in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 19 ¾ inches long. He was delivered by Tiffany Tucker, CNM, with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group.
Hudson was born to Amanda and Zachary of Dahlonega and will be welcomed home by his big sister, Georgia, who is 18 months old.
The family received a gift basket courtesy of the Northeast Georgia Health System Auxiliary and Safe Kids Northeast Georgia.
MEANWHILE, AT NGMC BRASELTON: TWINS ARRIVED ABOUT 5:00 A.M., HALL’S 2ND AND 3RD NEWBIES OF 2026:
Koen Anthony Hopper was born at 4:58 a.m. to Brittany and Ryan Hopper of Hoschton. The baby boy weighed in at 5lbs 15.2oz and measured 19.69 inches. Sixteen minutes later, his twin brother, Kaden Michael Hopper, was born at 5:14 a.m., weighing in at 4lbs 4.8 oz and measuring 17 inches.
The twins were delivered by Dr. David “Holt” Harrison, with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group OB/GYN, and by delivery nurse Courtney Roberts.
