Attempting to elude; Drug distribution; Hit-and-run; Rape

*A 52-year-old man faces several charges, including DUI and Fleeing and Attempting to Elude, following his arrest Wednesday afternoon, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). He is also charged with Open Container Violation, Driving with a Suspended/Revoked License, No Proof of Minimum Insurance, Failure to Maintain Lane, Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road, and Having a Tinted Windshield. And he was still in jail as late as mid-morning Thursday. Bond has been set at $12,700.

*A 57-year-old man faces several drug-related charges after he, too, was arrested Wednesday afternoon. He is being held without bond on charges of Possession of Meth with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Meth, Use of Communications Facilities in Drug Transactions, Possession of a Firearm/Knife in the Commission of a Crime, and Possession and Use of Drug-Related Objects.

*A 34-year-old man is facing five traffic-related charges, including Hit-and-Run, following his Wednesday arrest. Other charges are Driving with the Wrong Class of License, Tire Conditions, Driving Vehicle with Expired Tag, and Running a Stop Sign. He is also charged with Probation Violation and was still in jail Thursday morning without bond.

*And a rape was reported to HCSO in the East Hall area just before midnight Wednesday. It reportedly occurred last weekend.

Further information on each of these cases is not likely before Friday when local law enforcement offices reopen following the holiday.
