NWS: Rain, warmer temps returning

Temperatures will gradually climb through Saturday, according to the latest advisory from the National Weather Service (NWS). Rain (and in some instances storms) chances return for Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon, but severe weather is not expected.

Most of the rain is expected overnight Friday through Saturday with 1.00-1.5 inches possible in Gainesville and other parts of the state north of I-20.

Gusty winds and small hail are possible in central and south Georgia.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 54. East wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
