Oakwood Police are seeking the public’s help in solving a possible dognapping.
A 14-year-old Australian Shepherd named Belle is believed to have been stolen from her dogsitter’s home on Oakwood Terrace Court in the Oakwood Terrace Subdivision Dec. 20 between 8:30 a.m. and 8:40.
“The dog sitter has posted flyers up and conducted extensive searches of the area,” according to a police department news release which also says a “suspicious” vehicle, a black minivan, was seen in the neighborhood driving around the night before Belle disappeared.
