The hearing officer who heard testimony Wednesday in the case of three Hall County planning commissioners promises a decision by Jan. 8. That’s the date of the next scheduled voting meeting of the county commission.
The commission ordered Wednesday’s hearing after the planning commissioners were accused of violating the state’s Open Meetings law and after a judge earlier this week dismissed a suit the trio filed against the county in an attempt to halt the hearing.
