NWS: Roller coaster ride of temps headed our way

Brace yourself for a roller coaster ride of temperatures across north Georgia between now and Christmas.

The National Weather Service (NWS) says we are in for a deep freeze this weekend with lows in the teens and 20s. But as we barrel toward Christmas things will warm up again.

“There is a 70 to 80 percent chance of above average temperatures between December 18th and 24th,” the advisory says. “Highs in the 60s or even 70s are possible through this period.”
