Gville, Hall Teachers of the Year named, honored

The Gainesville and Hall County 2025 Teachers of the Year (TOTY) were announced Tuesday at the annual TOTY luncheon.

Hall County’s is Emily Allison of Cherokee Bluff Middle School. Gainesville’s is Chandler Reed of Enota Elementary.

The Gainesville School System also recognized its 2024 TOTY, Amanda Secund, also of Enota.

The meeting was held at Lanier College Career Academy (LCCA) and the meal was provided by LCCA students.

Entertainment, in the form of Christmas carols, was provided by the Chestatee High School chorus.
