The Lula Planning Commission and Flowery Branch City Council (FBCC) each have meetings early next month at which new residential developments are on the agenda.
The Dec. 2 Lula Planning Commission agenda includes a rezoning request (from Light-Industrial to Low Density Residential) for 32 acres on Lewallen Circle. No specific plans are included for the site if the request is approved.
When the FBCC meets two days later, it will be asked to consider a variance that would allow an increase in density and front and rear setbacks for the proposed development of an 18-unit condominium complex bordered by Gainesville, Pine and Chestnut streets.
