Gainesville native Charles Hosch has been missing since November 11 on the Byron Herbert Reece Trail near Blood Mountain and a search and rescue operation, coordinated by the Union County Sheriff’s Office (UCSO), is continuing.
Saturday, the sheriff’s office made an appeal to hunters: “If you have game cameras on or near the Byron Herbert Reece Trail or surrounding Blood Mountain area, please contact Union County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 706-439-6091,” a Facebook posting reads.
“Your trail camera footage could provide critical information to help bring Charles home. Time is critical. Please share with any hunters you know in the area.”
