Flight delays in Atlanta, elsewhere; Ga.’s Oct. tax revenues up; ‘America First’ tag, anyone?

*The FAA’s scaling back air travel over several days to reach a 10% workforce cutback goal has led to delays and cancellations not only at larger hubs like Atlanta, but also at smaller destination cities. 

*Georgia’s net tax collections during the month of October approached $2.71 billion for an increase of 6.9 percent, compared to FY 2025 when net tax collections totaled roughly $2.53 billion for the month.

*Starting January 1, Georgia drivers will have new specialty license plate options, including an “America First” design approved by Gov. Brian Kemp.
