Gas prices continue to fall

Gas prices continued their downward trend this past week.

AAA says as of this morning, the average price for a gallon in Hall County is $2.74, a nickel-a-gallon cheaper than last Monday.

The statewide average declined a penny to $2.78.

And the national average fell to $3.03 from $3.07 last week.

One contributing factor in the continued lower prices is that crude oil prices have remained relatively low due to higher supply and lower demand. And, AAA says drivers may see gas prices continue to fall and perhaps stay low over the busy Thanksgiving travel period.
