Investigators with the Flowery Branch Police Department (FBPD) have identified and arrested a suspect they say was involved in several theft incidents at a local business.
FBPD NEWS RELEASE:
“The suspect, William Lytle, 51, of Flowery Branch, was identified in
connection with deceptive actions used to obtain cash from a retail store
located in the 5800 block of Spout Springs Road. During the course of the
investigation, it was determined that William fraudulently obtained refunds
totaling approximately $1,790 between July to September of 2025.
Investigators gathered sufficient evidence to obtain an arrest warrant for
William. On October 29…(officers) took Lytle into custody without incident.”
He was taken to the Hall County Jail, where he was booked on six counts of theft by deception. Friday morning, he was still there, being held on no bond. He is also wanted by Gwinnett County authorities for unspecified reasons.
