Nearly 30 years ago, the murder of an 11-year-old boy shocked northeast Georgians – and the crime remains unsolved to this day.

“Eleven-year-old Levi Frady disappeared 28 years ago, on October 22, 1997.
His body was found the next day in the Dawson Forest Wildlife Management Area. The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, and the GBI Cleveland Regional Investigative Office continue to seek leads in this homicide investigation.

Georgia’s Levi’s Call, the state’s equivalent of Amber Alert, for missing children who may be at risk of harm, is named for the slain youngster.
