School bus wrecks; Funeral home: New charges; MTG vs. GOP; Church funds stolen

*Georgia schools are struggling with a bus wreck epidemic – over 200 bus wrecks so far this academic year since August 1st. Veteran road watcher Doug Turnbull spotlights the reasoning of Bus Safety Division Commander Capt. Anthony Hudson. Hudson says it’s impatient vehicle drivers in a rush. They account for almost 50% of bus wrecks, so far.  

*New charges for a south Georgia funeral home director. The GBI is charging 39 yr old Chris Johnson with 38 new felonies and misdemeanors after finding 18 decomposing bodies at Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services in Coffee Co. last year.  

*Georgia Republican Cong. Marjorie Taylor Greene continues to distance herself from other Republicans. Saturday going on an anti-Republican rampage via social media, she seemed to blame “good ol’ boy Republicans” for Georgia ranking what she says is #30 in the nation for education. 

*A former LaGrange church elder is being charged with stealing from his own congregation. Howard Lester was recently arrested for embezzling around $200,000 from the business account for the Broad Street Church of Christ.
