HCSO NEWS RELEASE:
“Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit investigators recently
charged a Flowery Branch man with 500 additional criminal counts for possession of child sexual abuse
material (CSAM) in an investigation that started in June.
HCSO ICAC Unit investigators obtained the latest warrant for Jason R. Lukos, 29, on Wednesday, Sept. 17. The added felony charges follow forensic processing of Lukos’ cell phone and electronic tablet. Investigators seized the items during the June 26 execution of a search warrant at his residence. They arrested Lukos that same day.
According to this week’s warrant, Lukos possessed at least 500 items (images and video) of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Wednesday’s charges add to the initial ten felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor from June, bringing the total number of counts to 510.
Lukos has remained in custody at the Hall County Jail since his arrest. He’s currently being held without bond.
GBI digital forensic investigators assisted with the investigation that originated with cybertips from the
National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).”
