GEORGIA STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“On Friday…at approximately 3:00 PM, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office requested a Trooper from Gainesville Post 6 to investigate a single-vehicle rollover crash at Old Cornelia Highway and Hyde Mill Road.
(Ryan) Smith (of Nicholson) was traveling east on Old Cornelia Highway when he failed to maintain his lane and traveled off the roadway. (His car) traveled down an embankment and rotated clockwise while overturning onto the driver’s side. The Honda came to rest on its roof.”
The 47-year-old Smith was cited for a DUI, and other violations.
