No injuries in van-motorcycle crash

A motorcyclist survived an accident Tuesday afternoon when his bike struck a van that turned in front of him, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). It happened about 2:45 on Hubert Stephens Road.

The sheriff’s office report says the van was making a left turn into a driveway when the motorcycle, coming from the opposite direction, struck it, throwing the operator, Peter Jacob Gross, off of it.

Goss said he was not injured and declined to be taken to a hospital. The van’s driver was charged with failure to yield.
