The Forsyth County School System (FCSS) and Blairsville-based United Community Bank (UCB) are among the country’s top employers, according to Forbes magazine’s latest list of America’s Best Large Employers. There are actually two lists, one for large companies and one for mid-size firms.
UBC, founded in 1950, is #78, with 3,121 employees, on the mid-size list. The FCSS, founded in 1873, is #89, with 6,094 employees, on the large-size list.
The top-ranked Georgia employer overall is Delta Airlines, 100,000 employees, #9 on the large-size list.
