Brenau Avenue NW between Bradford Street NE and Green Street NE will be closed for a week starting Monday.
This, city officials say, will allow for the resurfacing of the street.
Earlier this month, the street was closed for a few days so city water crews could finish stormwater and waterline utility work.
Those traveling in the area are urged to drive carefully, follow all detour signs, and watch for construction workers, flaggers and equipment.
The work is expected to be finished y the end of the week.
