A Jefferson High School wrestler, Dominic Haines, suffered a serious neck injury during the state high school wrestling tournament in Macon Thursday.
According to a GoFund account set up by friends of the family, “he will have a tough road ahead healing from this injury. At this time the family does not know the full extent of his injuries or the recovery that will be needed.”
The GoFund announcement says he is a senior at Jefferson High where he has been a wrestler for the last four years, competing in the state tournament each of those years.
As of 9:00 Friday, $19,380 had been raised by 265 contributors through GoFund. The goal is $28,000. Click here if you would like to contribute:
