Samuel Devahn Jones, 30, was arrested by the GBI’s Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO). Jones is also charged with Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime, and Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
His arrest came about following a traffic stop on Georgia 365 in Habersham County January 29 by the Georgia State Patrol (GSP). “During a search by GSP, approximately 4.5 kilograms of suspected Methamphetamine and a firearm were found inside of the car,” GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles said. “Jones, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was subsequently arrested.”
