Four people were recently arrested in Helen on drug charges, three on drug charges and the fourth o fugitive warrants out of South Carolina. The GBI says they were picked up following a manhunt last Thursday.
They are Courtney Cole Scott, 32; Jeffrey Edwards, 62, and Katrina Edwards, 51, all of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Also, Kaylynn Bohan, 23, Cleveland.
Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO) agents had assistance from the White County Sheriff’s Office, Cleveland Police Department, and Helen Police Department, and law enforcement agencies from Myrtle Beach in locating the four.
Bohan is charged with hindering the apprehension of a criminal, possession of cocaine, and crossing the guard line with a controlled substance. Jeffrey Edwards is charged with hindering the apprehension of a criminal, and Katrina Edwards with possession of cocaine and hindering the apprehension of a criminal. Scott was arrested on fugitive warrants charging him with possession of a weapon during a violent crime and armed robbery
