*Coweta County’s fire community is mourning the loss of one of its own. Battalion fire chief Bart Cauthen was killed while trying to help someone change a tire on Sunday near U.S. 431 in Alabama. An armed suspect reportedly shot Cauthen and the second driver. Someone fired back and injured the suspect.
*Coca-Cola is commemorating the inauguration of the president. The Atlanta-based company presented Donald Trump with a special edition Diet Coke bottle that highlights this moment in the nation’s history. It’s the first Diet Coke specialty bottle to be made for an inauguration.
*A former Atlanta mayor is out of the hospital. Family says Andrew young was hospitalized on Friday as a precaution but has since been discharged and is doing fine. There are no specifics on what caused the hospitalization. The 92-year-old was also a crucial part of the Civil Rights movement and served as U.N. Ambassador for President Jimmy Carter.
