An 89-lot residential development is on the agenda for a meeting of the Lula Planning Commission early next month.
The Revive Land Group, LLC wants the city to rezone a 30-acre tract in the 5100 block of Mountainview Parkway from Highway Business (HB) to Planned Residential Development (PRD).
In addition to 89 housing units, the development would also include amenities consisting of a park, trails, and a “community gathering area,” according to documents on file with the city.
The applicant is also seeking variances to reduce the side setbacks from 10 feet to 7.5 feet, encroach upon the exterior buffer to grade and replant the buffer, and reduce the road width from 27 feet to 24 feet.
The matter is on the agenda for the planning group’s Feb. 4 meeting and is scheduled to be taken up by the city council Feb. 17.
