Two subdivisions, a car wash, and a convenience store are on the agenda for the first meeting of the new year by the Hall County Planning Commission (HCPC).
One of the subdivision requests involves an application for a sidewalk variance for a 22-lot single-family development planned on Mt. Vernon Road near Ben Parks Road. The other is for a rezoning of a 10-acre site on Lakeland Road at Lake Drive from Residential-One (R-1) and Vacation Cottage (V-C) to Vacation Cottage. An 11-lot single-family subdivision is planned there.
The car wash and convenience store would be built on McEver Road at Lights Ferry Road. The applicants are seeking to rezone the six acres from Agricultural-Residential One (AR-1) to Highway Business.
The commission will meet January 21.
