Gainesville Police have received five reports of thefts involving the use unauthorized use of financial cards since last Friday.
“It appears these are all related to EBT cards,” spokesman Kevin Holbrook said Wednesday. “Funds were diverted from the accounts.”
The victims are four women and one man, ranging in age from 29-62. Total loss: $2,580.
