Several people were arrested in Oakwood Sunday afternoon following a manhunt near I-985 that began following an apparent chase originating with the state patrol
A spokeswoman for Oakwood Police, when asked about the large presence of law enforcement officers about mid-afternoon, said it was “GSP assist at exit 16.”
A vehicle that was believed stolen was involved, she said, and that the suspects were captured following a foot pursuit that began when they abandoned the vehicle after it wrecked.
