Trump wins, Harris concedes, GOP gains control of Senate

Former President Donald Trump has defeated Kamala Harris and is poised to return to the White House after losing to Joe Biden four years ago.

Trump won after he carried a number of Battleground States including Georgia. More on the Trump win can be found here:

In addition, Republicans have gained control of the Senate for the first time in four years but the House is still up in the air.

Wednesday afternoon, Harris officially conceded but urged her supporters not to give up. “While I concede this election,” she said, “I do not concede the fight that fueled this campaign.”

She and President Biden both called Trump Wednesday and congratulated him and Biden invited him to the White House.
