The Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization (GHMPO), in partnership with the City of Gainesville and Hall County Government, is developing a study to analyze the Atlanta Highway corridor.
The goal is to provide a list of improvements to address safety and mobility issues for both vehicles and pedestrians.
The project team will host its first public meeting Nov. 14 and is seeking feedback from local citizens on improvements they would like to see and the problems they have encountered along the corridor. The study will focus on three key areas: reducing traffic congestion, improving road user safety, and pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements.
The meeting begins at 6:00 at Pozo De Esperanza at 1261 Atlanta Highway.
