Hall County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 20-year-old man early Tuesday after they say they determined he had broken into an unoccupied residence in the 1400 block of Calvary Church Road and had been living there without permission.
HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE (HCSO) NARRATIVE:
“Just after 1 a.m., Tuesday…deputies were traveling in the area when they noticed a fire in the driveway of the residence and stopped to investigate. (There) they also encountered Alejandro Aaron Chipane-Chuquinuamani who was sitting outside the residence a short distance away from the fire.
During the course of the investigation, deputies discovered the residence was empty except for a mattress, a sleeping bag and clothing that belonged to Mr. Chipane-Chuquinuamani. They found holes in the walls and ceiling of the house where insulation had been removed. They also found damage to a shed next to the residence; all insulation had been removed from the shed as well.
Mr. Chipane-Chuquinuamani was taken into custody on a single felony charge of burglary. He remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond.
