Three injured when two motorcycles collide with car

Two motorcyclists and a passenger on one of the bikes escaped serious injury Sunday night when their vehicles struck an SUV as it turned in front of them on Dawsonville Highway at Sardis Road, the state patrol said Monday night.

STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:

“…Upon arrival and investigation, it was determined that a Ford Ecosport was traveling east on Dawsonville Highway in the left lane.  Two Harley Davidson motorcycles were traveling south on Sardis Rd and stopped in the left turning lane at a red traffic signal for Dawsonville Hwy.

When the traffic signal for Sardis Rd turned green, the motorcycles began to turn left.  The driver of the Ford, Tiffany Ferraro, 24,  from Gainesville, failed to obey the traffic control device and ran a red traffic signal.

Elijah Mckinzey 23, of Winder, and his passenger, Mickayla Mckinzey, 24, also from Winder and Angel Anderson, 25, from Braselton, were transported from the scene for treatment of minor injuries.”
