The driver of a car involved in a pedestrian fatality last month in Forsyth County has been charged in connection with the incident, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO).
A spokeswoman said Monday the charges include Homicide by Vehicle 2nd degree, Serious Injury by Vehicle, and Improper turn. Stacie Miller said the 17-year-old turned himself in at the county jail in Cumming Friday.
The victim and her fiancé, who was also hit but survived, were from Utah and were in Cumming for a wedding.
