A North Hall High School student is free on bond after being arrested for aggravated battery following a fight in the school cafeteria late Friday morning.
HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE (HCSO) NARRATIVE:
“According to the preliminary investigation, several students were playing a game in the cafeteria around 11:45, tossing a milk carton from table to table.
At one point, the milk carton opened and splashed milk on more than one of the students. Landon Matthew Martin, 17, of Gainesville, became agitated and approached a male student, also 17, at another table, punching that student in the face and head multiple times. The victim suffered a puncture wound as a result of either his tooth or his braces coming through his lip.
Martin turned himself in at the Hall County Jail later in the day.
(he) was released from jail on a bond of $11,200 on Saturday…”
